In 2001, a group of families began meeting regularly for prayer, Bible study and fellowship with a focus of helping Providence Presbyterian Church (in north York) to start a new church in south York. Dale Buettner later accepted the position of Church Planter/Pastor and New Life began meeting for services in September of 2003. Though New Life is a new church, we are not new in our beliefs and practices. We are rooted in biblical Christianity as it is explained in the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed and the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms (copies of these documents are available upon request). We belong to the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), a denomination which has churches throughout the United States and Canada.
