Why does New Life Presbyterian Church exist? The answer is simple, yet profound:
We exist to “discover God’s beauty and extend God’s love”. In other words, we desire to learn who God is and what He is like until our whole way of relating to others and the world around us is transformed in a radical way. We believe that Christianity has the resources needed to make this happen by connecting people to God, to one another and to their communities. This means that our intention is not to simply do church in York, but to be church to York by answering the questions and meeting the needs of the people in this area. We desire to be a church that truly worships Jesus Christ and loves people.
Every church has its own flavor. In fact, it’s good to have a variety of churches, each with its own unique style and emphasis, so long as the good news of Christianity is faithfully proclaimed.
