(What important foundational principles guide our ministry?)
Gospel-Centered Worship- We worship God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, joyfully focusing on the good news that Jesus Christ died for our sins, rose from the dead and is coming again to restore all things. (Psalm 95; Mark 12:30; John 4:24; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
Relationships- We extend God’s love to others and seek to build meaningful and lasting relationships. (Mark 12:31; John 13:34-35; 1 Thessalonians 2:8)
Teaching and Learning- We teach and learn the Scriptures because they tell us everything we need to know about who God is and what He requires of us. (Ezra 7:10; Matthew 28:20; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 1 Peter 1:13)
Honesty- We are honest with one another about our doubts, struggles, questions and joys. (Ephesians 4:15, 25)
Simplicity- We have a simple, yet biblical ministry style. Why reinvent the wheel? (Ecclesiastes 6:10-11)
Teamwork- Each of us is gifted in a unique way, fitted for a particular “niche” in the church. The church is most effective in her ministry when we all work together for the common good of the Body. (Exodus 18:13-27; Ecclesiastes 4:9-12; 1 Corinthians 12:12-27; Ephesians 4:11-13)
Cultural Renewal- The message of the Gospel has the power to transform lives in such a way that our community is renewed. Therefore, we strive to see our community renewed and changed with the message of hope. (Isaiah 60; 2 Corinthians 13:3b-4; Ephesians 3:10-11; Revelation 21)
